IPINX is a collaboration between internetworking specialists, funders and service providers.

It leads an initiative which will enable providers and companies to pass the benefits of more affordable access to broadband, local and international bandwidth to their subscribers and clients.

We focus on delivering the price benefits of wholesale aggregated access and carrier neutral connectivity to anyone on a fair basis.

IPINX  offers Service Providers and Companies access to a range of broadband access mediums, namely Telkom ADSL, 3G, iBurst, and Metro-Ethernet . In addition IPINX offers international transit via Seacom SDH connectivity to Level3 in the UK and SAT3/SAFE.

Our focus is on open wholesale access.  This means that as an IPINX customer you get to use your own IP pools, manage your own network, and customer traffic across your own infrastructure as if you had direct access to it. You get the benefit of scale that we have, but without the price tag.

And if you aren’t interested in dealing with infrastructure, routers and systems, IPINX offers a managed service that will allow you to continue with the business of selling whilst receiving the benefit of fixed costs such as  paying per Mbps instead of per GB.

In addition to wholesale services, IPINX also offers a completely  independent Internet Exchange point  — encouraging settlement free peering between local providers.
