Access Services

The term “access network” is used to describe a network that typically services customers or subscribers.

IPINX offers the following access services:

Telkom IPConnect

Direct access to the nation-wide Telkom ADSL network. We can deploy your own IP address space on the Telkom Network and have subscribers’ traffic flow directed from the IPINX core network to your routers. This allows you to offer services such as capped or uncapped ADSL, filtered internet and VPN’s all on your own private  segment of our IPConnect infrastructure.

We proxy RADIUS authentication and accounting requests from the network to your servers, and you are in full control of your customers.

Telkom Metro-Ethernet, ATM, and Martis.

Fully redundant, dual exchange-homed Metro-Ethernet, ATM and Martis nodes are available to deliver services to your customers via Telkom’s nation-wide Metro-Ethernet network,  ATM or Diginet

iBurst Wireless

We offer full L2TP terminated traffic from the iBurst wireless network onto the IPINX core. Per MB billing applies.

iBurst/Broadlink MetroNET

Make use of the on-site iBurst MetroNET node to deliver your services to corporate customers via iBurst MetroNET Microwave or Metro Fibre solutions.

Dark Fibre Africa

You can gain shared use of our Dark Fibre network in Gauteng, or utilise the existing manhole and splice point to provision your own links to customers or other providers.

MTN GPRS/3G APN Solutions

Utilize our shared connectivity to MTN for your APN and start offering 3G and GPRS services across the country-wide MTN 3G/HSPA network. Per MB billing from MTN applies.

Neotel

IPINX is connected via fibre to the Neotel datacentre in Midrand, and can offer circuits or transit directly to Neotel in the Seacom Meet-Me-Room where you can use Neotel’s Metro connectivity products. There is also a Neotel Metro fibre node available onsite should you wish to directly connect to Neotel onsite.
